Junior School Byte Detail
Heritage WeekCelebrating 'Heritage Week' and to understand the importance of the same, children of UKG went to see the Emu birds in the emu enclosed, walked through the Dense Miyawaki forest and saw the Cactus garden in the Daly College. They loved watching the second largest bird in the world and also, the different varieties of the Cactus. They had such an amazing morning.
A person without the knowledge of their past, origin and culture is like a tree with no roots. Keeping this in mind the children were taken to Durbar Hall at Daly College and shared their tiffins in the school lawns. The children of Lkg 1 & 2 were made aware about heritage, nature, environment conservation and sharing and caring with others. They certainly enjoyed every bit of the awesome morning.
