Asian Waterbird Census (AWC) at Sirpur Lake 
Daly College students participated in the Asian Waterbird Census (AWC) at Sirpur Lake, organised by "The Nature Volunteers" Group led by Naturalist Sajid Lodi, Ornithologist Ajay Gadikar, Siddharth Mahajan, Ritesh Kabia , Sachin Matkar and Imran on Saturday, 20th January 2024. The AWC is a Citizen Science Programme where volunteers across Asia visit wetlands in their respective countries to count waterbirds. This Programme is an integral part of the International Waterbird Census (IWC) coordinated by Wetlands International.
